YOUNGSTERS added a new "string to their bow" during a fun archery event.
Families headed down to The Hive centre in Moss Bank Park for a day of activities and were able to try their luck with a bow and arrow.
The Hive Centre is running weekly activity-days each Tuesday during the summer holidays, which also include arts and crafts and food growing.
Families who would like to get involved can drop-in to the centre every Tuesday between 10am and 3pm, with the archery class costing £1 per child.
The Hive is operated by Lancashire Wildlife Trust and based in the former Animal World site in Moss Bank Park.
