Four people were taken to hospital after their car crashed in Roman Road, Hoddlesden, near the Crown and Thistle Inn, around 6.30pm yesterday.
The four occupants, two men and two women, all thought to be in their 20s, had got out of the vehicle by the time emergency services arrived.
They were taken to Blackburn Royal Hospital, one woman suffering back pains, and others with cuts.
Police sealed off the road while wreckage was cleared.
