FIREFIGHTER Alison O’Donnell failed a breath test after being involved in a late night traffic crash, Manchester and Salford magistrates heard.
O’Donnell, 36, whose breath test showed her to be one and a half times over the drink driving limit, told the court: “I have never previously been in trouble, I feel sick about what happened.”

O’Donnell, of Blackburn Road, Darwen, admitted driving with excess alcohol and was banned off the road for a year.
She was also fined £400 and ordered to pay £150 criminal court charge and £40 government surcharge.
Other vehicles had been involved in the accident and O’Donnell said: “This will have an impact on my job but hopefully I can get round it.”
