A PROGRAMME of events is planned for a borough this Easter.
Rossendale Leisure Trust's lifestyle team has drawn up a two-week programme of arts and sports activities and childcare, with the aim of inspiring residents and leaving them "bitten by the bug".
Activities on offer during the fortnight include kayaking, graffiti art, drama work, skiing, tubing, girl pampering sessions.
Each is broken down into age groups to ensure everyone has fun while learning new skills.
All activities will be overseen by qualified and experienced coaches and artists.
The programme will conclude with a family evening of fun, games and entertainment at Bacup Leisure Hall in Burnley Road on Friday, April 13, from 7.30pm until 10pm. The evening will showcase the work created over the Easter period and everyone will be entertained by the stage performance of the "Playwright" project and a disco.
