A BODY found in the River Clyde is believed to be that of missing woman Margaret Cridge.
The 38-year-old, of Adelaide Court, Clydebank, vanished after leaving her grandparents house in Hardgate, West Dunbartonshire at around 4pm on Friday.
The body was found near Old Kilpatrick at 2.30pm yesterday. A post-mortem was to be held.
Police, meanwhile, appealed for help in tracing a 28-year-old man who disappeared from his Ayrshire home.
Marc Reid, 28, was last seen in Kirkland Crescent, Dalry at 2pm on Wednesday last week and made a call an hour later in Irvine but hasn't been heard from since.
And a 55-year-old driving instructor has gone missing in Motherwell.
Raymond St John, 55, hasn't been seen since leaving his home in Sharp Street around 9am on Thursday.
