CITY construction firm Morgan Ashurst has given Marie Curie Cancer Care a massive boost by handing the charity £7000 to help build a new hospice.
The company has given the money for the Big Build campaign - which the Evening Times is supporting.
Morgan Ashurst marketing and communications manager Sharon Conway and marketing assistant Eilidh Galbraith handed over the money to hospice capital appeal manager Gemma McDonald.
The donation will be put towards the cost of the new £16.1million hospice, which is set to open in spring 2010.
Gemma said: "It has been fantastic to have the support of Morgan Ashurst with our Big Build Appeal. This project will make a massive difference to the care available to terminally-ill people in Glasgow and the employees at Morgan Ashurst really have taken this on-board.
"Support like this is vital for us."
