HUNDREDS of passengers - including a planeload of Scots - were stranded in Dubai airport today.
The airport had to close for more than eight hours after a plane suffered a wheel failure on the runway and slammed into the ground.
An Emirates flight from Dubai to Glasgow, due to arrive at 11.35am, is now scheduled to land at 8pm.
The return flight, due to leave at 1.15pm, won't get away until at least 9.30pm.
