Gambling licences warning

GAMBLING businesses in Bolton are being urged to apply for new licences which will be required by law from September.
The Gambling Act 2005 requires members of the betting and gambling industry to be registered.
The process is being administered by the Gambling Commission. Director of Licensing and Compliance, Hazel Canter, said: "If you provide commercial facilities for gambling you have to be licensed, It's as simple as that." Visit www.gamblingcommission.gov.uk for more details.
