AN investigation has been launched following the death of a woman in Burnley.
The 49-year-old was pronounced dead at a house in Ford Street at around 9.10pm on Sunday, police said.
Her death is being treated as unexplained, although police believe she may have died from an overdose, Inspector Des Barr said.

A post-mortem examination was due to be carried out, and a file was being prepared for the coroner.
A 51-year-old man arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supplying heroin has been released on bail pending further inquiries, Insp Barr said.
He also confirmed the sudden death of a five-month-old baby girl, who was found not breathing at a different house in Ford Street on Saturday, was unrelated.
Police were called to the street in the early hours of the morning.
She was taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital but did not survive her ordeal.
The death was not being treated as suspicious.
