TWO women were taken to hospital after a crash outside Holy Cross College in Bury.
Manchester Road was shut temporarily this afternoon after the smash involving a Toyota Landcruiser and a Ford Ka, which happened at about 3.30pm.
The drivers of each of the vehicles, who were both women, were taken to North Manchester General Hospital with injuries that are not thought to be life-threatening.
Firefighters were called to the scene and helped paramedics to free the Toyota driver, who was suffering back injuries, from her vehicle.
The driver of the Ford had neck, chest and thigh injuries.
