A WOMAN in her 90s who died after being hit by a lorry in Leigh has been identified.
The woman's family has now been traced and formal identification is due to take place later today, police said.
The incident happened at about 11.45am yesterday in Leigh Road.
Sgt Mark Thomas, from the police's serious collision investigation unit, said: “I would like to thank the public for their assistance and helping us identify this woman’s family.”
