A DISTURBANCE on a plane bound for Portugal has led to a Bolton man being charged.
A passenger had to be restrained by passengers and staff after a woman was assaulted mid-flight.
The Monarch flight was travelling from Manchester to Faro on May 29 this year.
Airport detectives investigated and Sajid Rafik, aged 35, of Chorley New Road, has been charged with reckless endangerment of an aircraft.
He is due to appear at Trafford Magistrates Court on December 3.
