A 46-YEAR-OLD man has appeared before Blackburn magistrates charged with child internet porn offences involving enormous numbers of still and video images of children as young as four.
Frank Steele, of Pilmuir Road, Blackburn, faces 17 charges of taking indecent images and three of possessing indecent photographs.

The possession charges relate to 127 images in category A, 112 in category B and 41,273 in category C. Steele was sent on bail to Preston Crown Court to appear on March 2.
