A MAN has been found dead at the bottom of a quarry.
The 50-year-old man was found dead at about 10am yesterday morning in the quarry, off Parson's Bullough Road in Anglezarke, on the border of Chorley and Rivington.
The find was reported to Lancashire Police.
A Lancashire Police spokesman said: "Officers attended and found the body of a man in his 50s.
"He was pronounced dead at the scene.
“It is not being treated as suspicious and a file has now been handed to the coroner.”
