THE talented cast and crew from a Bury acting group have taken on a new challenge – and you can see the results from Thursday.
Over three nights, St Joseph's Players will be staging a production called Food For Thought.
Rather than following the traditional format, the show is two one-act plays, and theatre fans are in for some surprises.
Directed by Betty Hardman, the show takes place at St John's Hall in Parkinson Street, Bury, on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and starts at 7.30pm.
Mrs Hardman said: "We have called it Food For Thought because the two plays really make you think.
"The first of the two plays is the third act of Plaza Suite, which is set in the New York City Plaza Hotel.
"The second is called Pen of My Aunt and is set in German-occupied France during World War Two.
"They are both personal stories that we think the audience will enjoy very much."
A small number of tickets are still up for grabs priced at £10.
You can get them by calling 0161 764 3601 or 0161 797 8745.
