A 16-YEAR-OLD boy was attacked and robbed by three men as he walked home in Little Hulton.

The boy was knocked to the ground and robbed of his Samsung Galaxy S3 mini mobile phone in Armitage Avenue, Little Hulton, on Wednesday night.

The attackers fled along Haysbrook Avenue and out of sight after the attack, which took place at about 10pm on Wednesday.

They were seen a short time later near the Gulf petrol station but had left before police attended.

One of the robbers was white, aged 18 to 19, slim, about 6ft tall, with a Salford accent, and he was wearing a black tracksuit with the hood up.

The second attacker was a white man, aged 18 to 19, 5ft 7in tall, who was wearing a black jacket, black and grey tracksuit bottoms, a cap and a hood covering his face. He also spoke with a Salford accent.

The third man was white, aged 18 to 19, medium build and wearing a dark-coloured tracksuit with a hood over his face.

Det Con Gary Graham said: “Thankfully the boy was not physically hurt but was very shaken after his ordeal.

“To be confronted and threatened by these men and pushed to the floor must have been terrifying.

“I would urge anyone who may know who is responsible for this robbery or who may have seen these men acting suspiciously in the area to contact police immediately."
