BOLTON Lads and Girls club are on the lookout for volunteers with a head for heights — to climb Mount Kilimanjaro.
Following the success of last year’s climb in Tanzania, BLGC are looking for people to take part in another organised trek.
The nine-day adventure starts on March 20, and includes seven days of trekking.
Participants are being asked to raise a minimum of £3,500, which covers the cost of the trip and £1,000 fundraising commitment for BLGC.
The club’s fundraising manager, Donna Fisk, said: “This once-in-a-lifetime adventure promises to be life changing — not only for those taking part, but for hundreds of children and young people who rely on the club to provide them with somewhere to go, something to do and someone to talk to; by taking part in this mighty challenge and by raising funds you will make a difference.”
