The driver who knocked down and killed a three-year-old girl appeared before magistrates charged with driving while disqualified.
Ryan James Frayne, 20, was banned from driving over the death in July, 2005, of Demi-Leigh Hitchen, whose family live in the Livesey area of Blackburn.
Frayne, of East Street, Blackburn is charged with failing to provide a specimen for analysis, driving while disqualified, obstructing a police officer, and driving without insurance. The case was adjourned until February 7.
