CLITHEROE Concerts Society has announced details of its new season.
Its first concert will be on October 8 when Martin Roscoe plays a programme of Haydn, Beethoven, Dohnanyi and Schubert.
The season continues on November 12 with the Wu string quartet.
Their programme covers quartets by Beethoven, Janacek and Dvorak.
On December 10 the society will welcome Retorica, a violin duo who have played together and individually all over the world.
People can buy tickets in advance from the Platform Gallery in Clitheroe or the society’s website.
Secretary Ken Geddes said: “The new season will be the most exciting and eagerly anticipated for many years.
“The season closes on March 25 with another piano recital, this time by Alexandra Dariescu, described recently ‘one of the finest romantic pianists in the world.”
