POLICE are appealing for information after a 15-year-old boy had his mobile phone taken whilst walking home last night.

The incident happened at around 10.45pm on Wednesday 20 August as the victim was walking along Helena Street, Burnley.

It is believed that the boy was approached by two men who made verbal threats and ordered him to hand over his phone.

One of the men is believed to have searched the boy’s pockets and took a blue Samsung Fame mobile phone.

The first man is described as a white male, 6ft tall of a stocky build aged about 18 years.

He was wearing a dark Nike hooded top, with the hood up at the time of the incident, grey tracksuit pants and dark trainers. He spoke with a local accent.

The second man is described as a white male, of an average build wearing a hooded top with the hood up and knee length shorts.
