THREE people have been charged after police discovered a ‘substantial quantity’ of drugs at a house in Burnley.
Neighbourhood officers in Daneshouse executed a warrant obtained under the the Misuse of Drugs Act to enter the property in Howsin Street on Thursday.
PC Dave Cottam said heroin, cash and ‘other paraphernalia indicative of supplying drugs’ were found and seized for evidence.
He added: “Whilst the officers were in attendance at the scene local residents approached them and thanked them for their actions. We are very appreciative of your kind words and thank you for your support.”
Fahzeer Hussain, 20, of Whalley Street, Burnley, and Darren Catlow, 30, of Howsin Street have been charged with possession of heroin with intent to suppply.
Deborah Lawrence, 32, also of Howsin Street has been charged with possession of heroin with intent to supply and a separate count of possession of heroin.
