A MAN’S body has been found in a quarry in Egerton.

Police found the 42-year-old man's body at about 10am yesterday.

At 1.30am on the same day, police went to a house in Dobson Road, Halliwell, after someone called to report concerns about the welfare of the person who lived there.

The body was found several hours later at the bottom of Cox Green Quarry, in Cox Green Road, Egerton.
