CHILDREN went down the rabbit hole to enjoy a Mad Hatters Tea Party at the Schools Out Club.
Almost 30 youngsters aged four to 11 dressed up for the party at their base off Egerton Road in Blackburn, inspired by the Lewis Carroll children’s book Manager of Schools Out Jill Hubbard – who became the Queen of Hearts for the occasion — said all the children had a wonderful time.
She said: “We did a lot of activities, and we like to organise something that will catch the children’s imagination.
"The following day we visited Walton Hall in Warrington, where Lewis Carroll had often been.”
The business, which celebrates its 21st birthday this year, is also organising a mock wedding with Walmsley Unitarian Chapel on Wednesday.
