An image of a man who is suspected of indecently exposing himself on a train has been released.

British Transport Police officers investigating an incident which happened shortly after 6am on Saturday, June 7.

Detective Constable Chris Biggs said: “A man boarded a TransPennine Express Service at Manchester Oxford Road and sat opposite a woman who was already on the train.

“During the journey the man was seen to expose himself, before leaving the train, possibly at Buckshaw Parkway.

“The woman reported the incident to the train guard, who subsequently alerted BTP, but the man had run from the station before officers could arrive.”

Following the incident officers have isolated a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to about the incident.
