WATER bosses have said work will continue next week with the same road layout as now.
In September, United Utilites will be moving water pipes on the road and preparatory work began on June 16.
The organisation initally planned to completely close Croft Lane from Melton Drive to Croft Motors but it has so far been able to do the work with just a lane closure and temporary traffic lights.
A United Utilities spokesman said today that the same road arrangements will be place next week.
He added: "If a full closure is required, there will still be access available for residents to their homes from Croft Lane.
"There will be no access for through traffic between Pilsworth Road and Croft Lane, although pedestrian access will be available at all times.
"We have provided some answers to queries which you may still have and you can view the diversion map here."
People can find out more about the work and road issues at an open day at Hollins Community Centre, in Hollins Lane, on August 14 from 3.30pm to 6.30pm.
