POLICE are appealing for help to trace an 80-year-old man missing from his home in Blackburn.
Calogero Carlo Marchese was last seen at about 8.15pm on Thursday on Lincoln Road by a neighbour.
Mr Marchese suffers from alzheimers and could appear confused and disoriented.
He is described as white, 5ft 9ins tall, slim, with cropped white hair and clean shaven.
He wears spectacles and has brown eyes and speaks with an Italian accent.
He was last seen wearing a shirt and trousers, a white/cream bomber jacket and black shoes.
Sgt Andy Horne, of East police, said: “We are really concerned about Mr Marchese as it is more than 12 hours since he has been seen and he does not have his medication with him. I would appeal for anyone who sees him to get in touch with us.”
