Traffic chaos after M66 slip road car crash at Heap Bridge
POLICE have reopened the northbound slip road of the M66 at junction 2 for Heap Bridge after a car crash.
At 8.30am today, a silver Ford Fiesta crashed into a blue Ford Focus, which then hit a lorry on the slip road.
Noone was injured.
Police closed the slip road so they could make the scene safe by moving the three vehicles to the hard shoulder and clear debris from the surface.
The slip road reopened at 10.15am.
