A TEENAGE boy needed hospital treatment after he was knocked off his bike.
The collision happened in Randal Street, Blackburn, around 9.25pm yesterday.
Rob Birtwistle, watch manager at Blackburn Fire station, said: “The police called us in to assist with the youth.
“We made an assessment at the scene, provided oxygen to the casualty, packaged him on a long board and then the ambulance arrived.
“He was drifting in and out of consciousness.”
The road was cordoned off while emergency services worked to help the boy.
