Free for all music night in Chorley

Chorley Community Centre is staging a four-hour free music event on Friday from 6pm until 10pm.
The Arts Partnership has teamed up with Chorley FM to bring a variety of very different performances kicking off at around 6pm with the Music For All Group from Brinscall who hold weekly folk sessions enabling children and adults of all ages and experience to play together.
Weather permitting Paul Kenny will be outdoors with his renditions of your favourite George Formby songs from Leaning on a Lampost, When I’m Cleaning Windows to Mi Little Stick of Blackpool Rock.
He is a paid-up member of the George Formby Society and travels all over the north making his ukulele sing.
Ellie will be keeping music alive with her guitar and some Seekers and Beatles songs.
The Red Rosettes and Too Old To Be Told, will also perform.
To close the evening’s entertainment is that warm and talented husband and wife team who, with Keith make up Trouble at t’ Mill . Graham and Bernadette have, for the past 25 years, been organisers of the very popular Gregson Lane Folk Club.
