TRIBUTES have been paid to a man killed in a car crash.
Gary Ratcliffe, aged 41, who grew up in Leigh, died after his car was involved in a crash on the A55 at Rhuallt Hill, Denbighshire, Wales, on Sunday.
No other cars were involved. A second man suffered minor injuries in the crash which happened at 5.30pm.
Mr Ratcliffe worked as a pharmacist. He moved from Leigh to Manchester.
A statement from Mr Ratcliffe’s mother Eileen and sister Berenice, said: “He was a wonderful son, brother and uncle, who had lots of friends.
“He was a friendly hard working person who was very good at his work.
“Gary was a larger than life character who lived life to the full and he will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.”
