Two brothers who are professional pianists are set to play a free concert in Chorley Town Hall on Saturday, June 21 at 7.30pm.

John and Kevin Robson, known as The Robson Duo, have performed extensively across the UK, Europe and the Far East.

John and Kevin began learning the piano aged 13 at Heylings Music in Chorley, and they studied at Holy Cross RC High School before going onto Runshaw College.

Kevin went on to the Birmingham Conservatoire and John the Royal Northern College of Music.

Graduating in 2007, they have worked as pianists and teachers.

The music event marks the 10th anniversary of their mother’s diagnosis of breast cancer, from which she has now recovered, and there will be a collection at the end of the evening in order to raise money for Breast Cancer Care.
