THE inquest into the death of a man who died more than a month after being hit by a car in Bolton town centre has been adjourned.
Harold Waring died aged 57 on December 29 at the Royal Bolton Hospital after being taken ill.
Mr Waring was hit by a black VW Golf as he crossed Topp Way, at the junction with St Georges Road, at 8pm on November 12.
A pre-inquest review was held at Bolton Coroner’s Court yesterday.
Coroner Alan Walsh adjourned the hearing so a collision reconstruction report could be prepared and given to the Crown Prosecution Service.
The review will now take place on July 18 at 3pm.
