Chorley’s annual Civic Sunday procession and service takes place on Sunday, June 8.

Councillor Roy Lees was due to be to be installed as Mayor of Chorley this week and the traditional event will celebrate the occasion.

The parade sets off from St Thomas’s Road at 10.45am and makes its way through the town centre (turning right into Market Street, left into Chapel Street, left into Cleveland Street and left into Union Street) before arriving at St Laurence’s Parish Church for a service at 11.15am.

All are welcome to join the procession and attend the church service.
