Man wanted for burglary and theft

POLICE are hunting a man in connection with a series of thefts in Bury.

Adam Ellis, aged 28, of no fixed abode, is wanted for burglary and theft.

A newsagents in Bolton Street, Ramsbottom, was broken into, and a till drawer was taken at about 11pm on May 17.

On May 21 at about 12pm, a man asked to use the phone of a woman at a house in Monmouth Avenue, Bury, but took the phone and did not return.

Police said Ellis has links to Bury, Whitefield, Radcliffe and Heywood.
