A WOMAN who was found unconscious in a street in Bolton has been taken out of an induced coma in hospital.

Emergency services were called to Duke Street North, just outside Bolton town centre, at about 8am on Friday morning after reports that a woman was unconscious on the floor.

She was taken to hospital by ambulance where she was put into an induced coma.

A police spokesman said: "We can confirm that the woman in question has now been taken out of the induced coma.

"She has been spoken to by police and we have received no allegations of criminality in this case."
