A BURY man has been accused of offering children money "to play games in the woods" after approaching them in Clarence Park.
Rhys Seymour, aged 19, of Wolstenholme Avenue, Walmersley, was arrested on Monday and has been charged with two counts of abduction and one count of attempted abduction of a child.
He is accused of offering seven and eight-year-old children money in Clarence Park to play games in the woods.
The incidents, in which police said no children were physically harmed, are alleged to have happened on May 3 and May 8.
Seymour appeared at Bury Magistrates Court today and was remanded in custody.
He will appear at Bolton Crown Court on June 2.
