A HIGH school has implemented a new IT scheme using iPads. The Accrington Academy iPad Scheme is now fully in place with most pupils accessing the devices.
Special lessons have already started at the school using the new tools in lessons.
Headteacher Andrew Bateman said: “We have now fully implemented our exciting iPad scheme. Over 90 per cent of year 7, 8 and 9 students now have an iPad and are using them daily to great effect.
“Many lessons have been transformed by the addition of these iPads and with our students now having a wealth of resources at their fingertips, we hope to see an even greater advancement of skill sets and academic achievements.
“We would like to thank all parents who have supported the scheme, their help has been very much appreciated.”
