A MISSING teenage girl from Blackburn has been found safe and well.

Sherana Hussain, 15, was found in Preston city centre in the early hours today, police said.

She went missing on Wednesday after travelling to Nelson with another girl.

Police said the girls had made their way into Blackburn town centre on Tuesday before going to Whalley Range where they called a taxi at 8pm and went to Railway Street in Nelson.

The two girls then visited different cafes and takeaways and visited Lomeshaye and Walverden park.

At around teatime the following day the girls became seperated after Sherana's friend returned home.

Police said Sherana was found safe and well this morning and have ended their appeal.
