A CUBS group presented bird boxes to Friends of Daisy Hill Station after receiving cash from a high street bank to take part in a challenge.
Children in 3rd St George’s Cubs presented their boxes to Cllr Jack Speight, chairman of Friends of Daisy Hill Station, at St George’s Primary School in the Hoskers on April 10.
Matthew Whitehead from Barclays was also present — the bank had given the children £100 to take part in a bird box challenge.
