I did not see the accident but I certainly heard it, there is no mention of the other 2 cars that were speeding along lever park avenue around the same time that suddenly pulled into Darley street seconds after it happened, and all running back towards the crashed car!!! this is not the first time this has happened, and speed bumps or some other preventative measure need to be put in place, most nights I can see/hear cars racing up and down this stretch of road its amazing that it does not happen more often

Unfortunately speed bumps ( or sleeping policeman as they used to be called,) I fear would not stop some of these speed merchants, it would be a further thrill they get.

That tree could have been a family wiped out, speed and inexperience, Min should be 6 month ban and take a retest, hit him in the pocket, evidently the cost of his insurance hasnt been a deterrent, perhaps when he declares the accident and points, he may find it takes the D**k out of Head

I could not agree more - those three cars were driving around at high speed for some time before this happened. The funniest thing is that one of the passengers got out of the vehicle wearing a neck brace - presumably pre-empting the inevitable crash for cash claim and severe whiplash.

where is the hate? the only fault with the car was his foot was pressed down to hard on the accelerator when one of the other cars clipped it trying to overtake, where does the fault lie there? this happens every night and soon it will be a child not a tree that is hit

A friend of mine was cycling along when the cars raced past him, 30 seconds later this happened. Young men + fast cars = Accidents. The driver was out of his depth racing probably his mates? 12 month ban and an extended test at the very minimum. He could have quite easily killed a child or a family.
