This Is Lancashire: Appeal as Darwen charity shop runs short Appeal as Darwen charity shop runs short

CHARITY shop Age UK in Darwen has appealed for donations of small electrical items as stocks are running low.

The charity shop in Market Street sells a wide range of second-hand goods to support the services it provides for local older people. Chief executive Vicky Shepherd said: “We particularly need small working electrical items that have a CE mark on the label. We can sell items from every room in the house, so why not have a clear out and bring your goods to us?”

To donate, take items to the shop or arrange collection of larger quantities on 01254 266620.
