RAILWAY themed walks have been organised for the May Bank Holiday weekend.

The walks, organised by Clitheroe Ramblers, will take place on Saturday, May 3 to Monday, May 5.

The first walk on the Saturday is a 10-mile ramble from Todmorden through to Littleborough before returning by train.

That will be followed by a nine-mile walk in Derbyshire following the old Woodhead railway, with the final walk on Monday taking a circular 10-mile route from Oxenhope following the Keighley and Worth Valley railway to Ingrow.

The meeting point for the walks will be Chester Avenue car park in Clitheroe, at 9am on Saturday and Sunday at 9.30am on Monday.
