QUEENS Park exploded with colour as Bolton Hindu Forum celebrated the Holi festival.
Families and performers enjoyed a morning of music and art inside the pavilion before heading outside to cover each other in vibrant powder paint.
Holi is a festival celebrated in north India to mark the beginning of spring.
It also celebrates Krishna and the legend of Holika and Prahlad.
Priya Narsai-Punam, organiser and development officer at Bolton Hindu Forum, said: “It was fantastic to see people from across all of the communities come together to celebrate the Holi festival.
“It was about encouraging people to get involved with the performers and have a go themselves.
“It was a brilliant day.”
