BLACKBURN law firm Garricks has won three new clients as the economic recovery fuels demand for specialist legal advice.

The firm has been appointed by award-winning Wigan-based data-management company Cloud Perspective, Warrington-based web and app developers The EMS Group and Standish-based business advisory firm EPC Corporate.

Andy Herricks, corporate partner at Garricks, said: “We are seeing more companies, particularly owner-managed businesses and other SMEs, needing advice on legal matters relating to their expansion plans, such as intellectual property, new business contracts, joint ventures, new premises, recruitment and employment issues.”
