VINTAGE cars worth around £30million rolled down the driveway at the Dunkenhalgh Hotel as an international rally came to town.

Dozens of petrolheads participating in the Sixth Flying Scotsman Rally pulled into Clayton-le-Moors on Friday before heading through the Yorkshire Dales and the finish at Gleneagles in Scotland yesterday afternoon.

In cars dating back to the 20s, 30s and 40s, the cavalcade of Aston Martins, Rolls Royces, Bentleys, Jaguars and Lagondas turned heads. The collection of enthusiasts came from across the globe.
