CUSTOMERS and staff at a rural pub raised £270 by raffling a signed, framed Blackburn Rovers crest, chocolate hamper and beer.
The Black Bull Pub, in Brokenstones Road, Blackburn is home to Three B’s Microbrewery.
Pub and brewery owners Robert Bell and his wife Wendy have support ed the charity since taking over the pub in 2011 and wanted to raise funds for the Higher Croft-based hospice for personal reasons.
Wendy said: “This charity is close to our hearts because my father and Rob’s mother were lovingly cared for at the hospice.
“We’re pleased to be able to fundraise as our way of saying thank you for the care our loved ones received there.
“The hospice really is a special, peaceful place which provides and invaluable service for people from this area.”
