A TEACHER has been charged with 13 counts of non-penetrative sexual activity with boys under 13.

Martyne Airey, of Parkinson Street, Blackburn, is said to have committed the offences at a Blackburn primary school between June 2012 and October 2013.

The youngsters were said to have been made to remove their socks and shoes.

It is claimed that the allegations then involved the feet of children being tickled and sniffed.

Airey was suspended from the school and an investigation launched by Blackburn with Darwen Council, in line with normal procedure when allegations of this kind are made.
