A Chorley couple has received an award for opening their garden The Ridges, Limbrick, to the public for charity for 20 years.

Barbara Barlow and husband John were honoured by the National Garden Scheme for their dedication to charity through the scheme, and presented her with a commemorative garden fork.

This year their garden will open on Bank Holiday Mondays May 5 and August 25.
