A DARWEN dad has gone missing and police are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.
Alan Hayden, 60, from Sudell Road, Darwen, has not been seen since Thursday January 4 at the Travel Lodge, Junction 4, M65.
He is described as white, about 6ft 1 ins tall and of a medium build.
He has grey receding, thinning hair, a pale complexion and blue eyes.
Mr Hayden was last seen wearing blue denim jeans, a black fleece jacket, a black woolly hat and black and white trainers.
PC Patrick Bowdich said: "We are becoming increasingly concerned for Alan.
"I appeal to Alan directly to get in touch with us to let us know he is okay.
"Your family are extremely concerned and just want you to return home safe and well."
If anyone has seen Alan or has information about his whereabouts, they are asked to contact police on 0845 1 25 35 45.
