PUB goers belted out karaoke hits to help raise over £700 for a tot whose life was saved by the membrane of a cow's heart.
One-year-old Aleesha Levi Taylor, from Havelock Street, Oswaldtwistle, was born with a hole in her heart.
Her parents Sue Kennedy and Ben Taylor, both 20, were told she only had a small chance of survival.
When she was only four months old doctors decided to give her ailing organ added strength by wrapping membrane from a cow's heart around it.
Despite complications at the time - an extra vein in her neck meant Aleesha's heart had to be frozen so that she effectively died during surgery and was then brought back to life - the youngster is now recovering from her ordeal.
Drinkers in her parents local pub, the Royal Oak, were inspired by Aleesha's courage and decided to help raise funds for the unit at Alder Hey Hospital where she was treated.
